Andrew Oleson, Gypsum, Colorado. Mr. Oleson is seated for a formal photograph, in suit with bowtie. Born in Tornum, Nord-Schleswig, Denmark, October 22, 1864, Andrew attened German Trades schools, learning shoemaking. He joined his father in Colorado in 1883. Formal portrait of Barclay Hockett. He was born July 19, 1813, at Wilmington, Ohio, and died at Gypsum, Colorado, on June 7, 1915. He was an early settler of Eagle County, arriving at Battle Mountain in 1882, and moving to Eagle a year later. He homesteaded near Gypsum.
