1) Water Street

A train approaching the Pine St. bridge in Red Cliff. At far left is the house of Canuto Velasquez. On the far right hillside is a house built by Doug Byren (Jan. 16, 2954--Nov. 14, 1989). The Byren house looks down on Water Street at center.

Bridge over the Eagle River on Eagle Street, in Red Cliff. Taken on June 8, 1959, the spring runoff is quite hight and debris is collecting on the bridge pier. A dog appears to have found something of interest.

The Red Cliff jail with the Eagle River flowing behind it. The jail is situated behind the old town hall and fire department.
On the hill above, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church is visible on Pine St.

The boardwalk all along Water Street, Red Cliff, Colorado, with R. E. Tippett's house in the midground (built in 1915). The town marshall shoveled the boardwalk when it snowed.
