The carnival was on the east side of Broadway where Highway 285 now runs. Old Lowell school is in the background which is now the Masonic Temple. The Abbott Lumber buildings are at the left.

Panoramic view of Englewood in 1917. The view is to the North along Sherman on the right and Grant on the left. The photo was taken on top of Lowell school at 3500 S. Sherman. Hampden runs to the left of the photo towards Broadway. (The photo is split in two with the upper photo fitting onto the left of the lower photo).
