In 1935 the store was owned by J. F. (Mabel) Stirratt. By 1939 the store was called Greenstreet's Grocery, owned by W. B. (Vella) Greenstreet. It was located on Broadway at Bates. Note the bench between the trees which was used for the bus stop.

M-D Drug moved into Tom Sullivans' Pioneer Theater building when Tom died. Ozzie Miller & Turman Davis bought the theater building and Alcove's moved into the corner and stayed until 1970. The view is to the east down Hampden.
