The lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Gypsum, after a December 15,1990, late night fire. According to Fire Chief, Dave Vroman, the blaze was traced to a furnace recently installed. First Lutheran Church of Gypsum and Mount of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Vail took over ownership of the structure in 1989. Saint Marys Catholic Church in Eagle, Colorado, circa 1980. The church was originally the Eagle School at 215 Capitol St. Built in 1890, it was used as a school until 1916 when it was sold to the Catholic Church.

Sea Duran, longtime Red Cliff resident, at the Shrine of the Stations of the Cross, San Luis. A group from St. Patrick's Parish, Minturn, visited in April 2000. Sea was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society in Red Cliff and was married to Joe Duran. She was a homemaker and child-care provider.

The school building in Eagle, Colorado, 215 Capitol St. Built in 1890, it was used as a school until 1916 when it was sold to the Catholic Church. The school is surrounded by a picket fence and boardwalk.

Front view of the Methodist Church and parsonage, Eagle, Colorado. The Church was organized under the name of Christ Methodist Church. W. W. Winne, who preached (1899-1900) but was not an ordained minister, arranged for a five hundred dollar loan from the Denver Missionary Society. With this money and donated labor, the one-room church was completed in July 1900; the parsonage was built in 1902.

The church, built in 1906 on the corner of Main St. and Toledo [191 Main St.], served the Presbyterian denomination for 96 years. In 2002, the congregation built a larger church 4 miles west of Minturn. This older church has a high-ceilinged interior, original high-peaked windows and almost century old light fixtures. Two of the six original lights date from the early 1900's and came from the old county seat in Redcliff while the other 4 were made...
