The foreground appears to be a hay or alfalfa field with several piles cut and piled in rows (one is in clear view in the bottom right corner). There is a building or home at center left; another home can be seen (colored white) beyond the first building as well.

c.1890: Iron Mask Mill, Belden, Colorado. This old mill is torn down and a new one built in solid granite. Ore transport system, railcar ("Wabash" on side) and tracks visible. Snow on ground. This photograph is a postcard with a 1 cent stamp postmarked for 1911.

Frank Edwin Grant leans against a railing near a building in Castle Gate, Utah. Frank was the brother of Mary (Grant) Borah and brother-in-law to Alfred Borah. He worked for Alfred for a number of years before moving to Utah. Living first in Salt Lake City, he moved to Castle Gate, where he died in 1925, at the age of 55.
