A letter written by C.R. Powers to Frank Doll, dated October 27, 1890, from Salida. The letter is written on letterhead for the Ph. Zang Brewing Company, Rocky Mountain Brewery, Denver. Philip Zang operated the brewery for many years. The brewery was one of the first breweries in Colorado.

A letter written by B. C. Loudon to Frank Doll, dated October 24, 1899, from Logan County, Nebraska. Although the town name is illegible, a C. B. Loudon lived in the village of Gandy in Logan County around 1900. It's possible the two individuals are the same.

A veterinarian's guide to veterinary medicine and surgery, written by George Doll. This small pamphlet was written in 1872, and was published by Hartzell & Saxton, Printers of Canton, Ohio. George Doll was the father of Hiram, Sam, Zachariah, and Frank Doll. Frank and Samuel were ranchers and horsemen in the Gypsum Valley, Doll Brothers & Condon Ranch.
