The view is to the South from the intersection of Hampden and Broadway. Marvel Cleaners was located at 3500 S. Broadway. The Goodwill was at 3510 and the Tin Shop was at 3524 S. Broadway.
M-D Drug moved into Tom Sullivan's Pioneer Theater building when Tom died. Ozzie Miller & Truman Davis bought the Theater building and Alcove's Carpet & Drapery moved into the corner and stayed until 1970.
The view is to the South looking towards the east side of S. Broadway. Cline and Glenn Mortuary was located at 3270 S. Broadway. The Conoco gas station was at 3298 S. Broadway and Hoehn Chevrolet was at 3300 S. Broadway. Hoehn Chevrolet later became Burt Chevrolet around 1940.
The view is to the North looking toward the west side of S. Broadway. Ruckers Texaco Station was located at 3499 S. Broadway. The First National Bank was located at 3501 S. Broadway. The intersection is Hampden.
The view is to the North. The intersection on the right is Girard. Walgreens is located at 3395 S. Broadway. Fashion Bar is at 3365 and F. W. Woolworth is at 3335 S. Broadway.
The view is to the South from Floyd. Myer Drug Store was located at 3398 S. Broadway and Max Hessel's Standard Station was at 3395 S. Broadway. The intersection is Girard.
The view is to the South looking toward the east side of the S. Broadway. The Post Office is located at 3400 S. Broadway next to the J. C. Penney Company at 3402. The Safeway is at 3414 and the Public Service Co. is located at 3434 S. Broadway.
Upstairs in the Crysler building were attorney's offices and the office of Dr. John Simon. The car was probably in a parade on South Broadway when this photo was taken.
