This photo was taken in the fall of 1917 when the high school was at the North Englewood School. Pictured here is the entire student body of Englewood High School. There were 8 seniors.

North School was build in the summer of 1903 after Englewood's incorporation. It was built on the northeast comer of S. Cherokee and West Cornell. There were 35 pupils when it opened. A small addition was built in the back in 1904. In 1905 the west half of the building was built.
A brick building was built at 3000 S Bannock in 1905, North Englewood Elementary School. (from Englewood, Colorado 1903-1978)

The carnival was on the east side of Broadway where Highway 285 now runs. Old Lowell school is in the background which is now the Masonic Temple. The Abbott Lumber buildings are at the left.
