The Odd Fellows Lodge was built on 2d Street in 1900. "The first story was used for a grocery store. It was run by John Miller and Mac Millan at first. It changed hands many times. Dan Dentor, Mr. Lucker, A. F. Carlson, and Don Lupton were some of the proprietors that had charge of it. It finally was made over into a dance hall which it is now." -- History of Eagle County, 1940, p. 242

Skiff's Ranch building (behind the Lutheran Church in Gypsum) right after it was finished (1900). A group of people including children and a dog are standing in front of the building. It was used as a hotel, drygoods store, and Oddfellows Hall over the years.

The Odd Fellows Hall building taken from the yard of the Poor Farm in Gypsum. The Lutheran Church is at the right of the Hall. The cupola on the original building has been removed, a chimney and additional door appear as well (comparing this photo to 2011.006.001). The building has been remodeled to suit the purposes for which it was being used.

The lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Gypsum, burned after a December 15,1990, late night fire.
