Front view of the Methodist Church and parsonage, Eagle, Colorado. The Church was organized under the name of Christ Methodist Church. W. W. Winne, who preached (1899-1900) but was not an ordained minister, arranged for a five hundred dollar loan from the Denver Missionary Society. With this money and donated labor, the one-room church was completed in July 1900; the parsonage was built in 1902. The church's address is 138 Howard St., Eagle, Colorado.

The building was originally a house owned and given by Mrs. Anna Murmann Hyrup, and was moved onto a lot which also belonged to Mrs. Hyrup. Father Corrigan obtained the bell from the Church in Glenwood Springs...

Methodist Church, Eagle, Colorado, built in 1900. An enlargement program was started in 1940 by Rev. Casselman. A fellowship hall and office were built on the ground level and Sunday School rooms were on the second level. A furnace was installed in the basement. Parsonage is barely visible in the left background. [Compare with 1982.001.088, view from 1902]
Between 1951 and 1954m the Sunday School rooms were completed.

The Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Leadville, Colorado, as seen from the back of the church. The image was taken by David Dan[b/l]y in 2001. The church was founded in 1879.
