Bud Beck, being shipped from Mindinao, Philippines, to Japan, to act as occupation troops at the end of World War II. At the time, Bud was a T-5 (corporal) and a medic in the 193 Regiment of the 41st Division. "I have no idea what ship we were on, we spent so much time on ships that it was easy to lose track. I was 22 years old at the time."
