Front view of Lucero's Hwy. 24 Liquors, with gas pumps removed. Lucero's Hwy. 24 Liquor Store & Self Service Gas station opened in 1974. The gas station was closed in 2007 and the liquor store closed in 2008. Tony Lucero [81 years old in 2009], proprietor, also worked at the Climax Mine, Leadville, for twenty years.

The other members of the class of 1925 were Myron McGinley, Marjorie Jerrell, Dorothy Quick, Frank Gleason, Vinta Byers, Morton White and Loyal Carlson.

Ralph and Pearl Lewis Henderson standing in front of an automobile with their dog; August 1969.
Pearl worked in the Henderson store and at the Red Cliff Museum. She was a member of the Eagle County Historical Society and Neighbors of Woodcraft.
Ralph Henderson owned Henderson's Variety Store in Red Cliff and sold cars in Red Cliff for Burt Chevrolet, Denver. Ralph also owned the bus line to Gilman, which took workers back and forth to the mine....
